That bugs me. I'm so dissapointed I wasn't alive to see that. I can't possibly imagine what it must have been like to witness an event of that magnitude. And nowadays nobody seems to care about the space program short of launching more communications sattelites. Not too many people seem to realize that there's an entire universe out there to explore. Heck, we've got a solar system that's pretty darned cool.
