I just learned to play a new game. You don't even have to plug it in. It's fooze ball. (Or phoose ball, or foze ball, or phoze ball, etc.)
Actually, I think it's been around for decades, and grandson Chris says he has had it a couple of years. So he brought it to my house and we set it up and tried it out. In case you are unfamiliar with games that don't run on batteries, fooze ball is based on soccor. You spin these little metal rods with socoor players on them and they kick the ball toward the other guy's goal. The ball is even black and white in a soccer pattern. It's about as big as a golf ball and is made of hard, indestructalbe plastic. Sometimes it gets fast and furious, giving you an excuse to work up a sweat. Other times, bang, it's over. Any game that can be played in an air conditioned room is my kind of game.
