I looove 80's music. I collect old vinyl records, and I'm pretty proud of my old New Wave records. When I spent a weekend in Boulder, I met Dave and searched through the used record store there. Dave told me there was more to do in Boulder than look for records, but not as far as I was concerned.

My boyfriend Mike was born in '69, so his teenage years were during the eighties. He got me into The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, The Smiths, Joy Division, and so on. I don't know why that music is so appealing to me-- that old goth rock.
When that music was popular, I was listening to Peter, Paul and Mary, like most other people born in '79. Puff the Magic Dragon and so on.

I've noticed people either love 80's music, or despise it. My best friend refuses to be around me when I'm playing my Blondie records. So we usually end up listening to Cat Stevens or Ravi Shankar. :)
