I don't think I was alive when the show played. if i was, i was really young. that might partly explain why i kinda liked the movie while you didn't. of course, now that i think about it, they really DID manage to make a basically simple plot really complicated. how did they do that? oh well... my complete enjoyment of a movie has been ruined now, but why not? it's not like i was particularly planning on watching it again very soon.

Good Point. My wife and I watched it regularly back in the days of four channels. We knew how it would come out. The interesting part was the way they did it. The best part of their weekly show was when the good guys walked out and drove off as the bad guys watched their evil world fall apart around them. It was also one of the first shows to have four heroes; an old guy, a black guy, a woman and a body builder. It also had Martin Landau, but I can't seem to sterotype him. It had real writers and lots of class. (Let me waffle a bit. Peter Graves wasn't old, he just had white hair.)
