Sorry. In my arrogance, I have claimed overmuch credit for the creation of this thread. :(

Well, the post was prompted by something Jezzika said about her always being left out, which led me to apologize for leaving her out, which, in my weird excuse for a mind, started me rattling on about how I'd snubbed three people named Jessica in RL that week, and then got me going on how I know all these girls with the same name whose relationships to me are eerily similar (friends with Jessicas, enemies with Nikkis, love/hates with Kristins), which, IIRC, was what prompted Jezzika to write the post with the title "Common Names".

Okay, so it may not qualify as "starting a thread" since it was an offshoot of a different thread and I didn't retitle it, but I *was* the first one to mention all this name stuff and get this whole big demented ball rolling, so I figure I get at least ten percent credit. :)
