Oh man! I must object.

Given the wasteland that internet forums often are, stumbling across one which is worth our time and thought is indeed impressive. Yes, Sam is great. Yes, Sam is human. He writes meaningful posts, and is always interesting. All the admins for this site are like that.

What is WRONG with a little gushing? If you admire someone, why not express that? If you think Arthur's over-the-top, that is no reason to embarrass him like that. He isn't brown-nosing-- there's no reason to brown-nose Sam, anyway. I get goofy too in the presence of someone I truly admire. My English teacher from high school is my hero, and I would gush too if given the oppurtunity.

And maybe Sam ISN'T Arthur's hero. Either way, I think that chastising him for complimenting Sam is inconsiderate, even if you ARE tired of it.
