I wonder if that's worse than an eyebrow comment I once received from a guy who may or may not have had a "crush" on me. (I never could figure that one out.) He assumed I dyed my eyebrows because they're almost black and my hair is not. I was quite offended, because I have never dyed my hair OR my eyebrows, even though people seem to think I do. I felt mildy vindicated when the people within earshot of this comment gave him odd looks.
