It amazes me what some people will eat nowadays.

It all started when a new Fish and Chip shop opened up two minutes away from my house. To begin with they had the manatory cod, plaice, burgers and sausage, but then it got out of hand.

A month ago I walked in to the shop and saw, to my suprise, "Battered Mars Bar". Now, I can think of a lot of things you can do with Mars bars, but putting them in batter?

As well as that, they have lobster in batter and spam fritters (Spam in batter, of course - which is more understandable, but still a disaster waiting to happen).

What next? Battered cucumbers? Battered bananas? Battered newspaper? The mind boggles.
