smokeless tires

I know I should post this on the NASCAR forum, but if they have one, I haven't found it and if I found it, it wouldn't be as much fun as Rinkworks.

I watch a lot of car races and I'm tired of seeing massive pileups that take out my favorite drivers.
An occasional spin or brush with the wall or a little bump against another car makes it interesting, but those pileups are dangerous and take a lot of fun out of racing. The reason they occur is that someone spins or has a wreck involving one or two cars and this creates a bunch of tire smoke. Then here comes the rest of the field at 190 or so right into a wall of smoke that hides wrecked or spinning cars. You can't dodge what you can't see, so there's a pileup.

Ok, tire manufacturers, how about smokeless tires? About 40 years ago you took the squeel out of passenger tires, you did away with innertubes, you made tires stick to pavement in the rain and you doubled the life of the tire over and over again.
Some company is going to develop smokeless tires, and then then race drivers will be able to see where they are going and avoid the pileup. They won't mind racing on a different brand of tires.
