I actually live somewhere where there's a need to know this stuff! Camping in these parts involves lots of bear safety. Moose generally don't care about you - unless you're threatening in some way (nose pinching would count, I think), they just ignore you.
The general rule here is "Don't do anything stupid to bug them, and they won't bug you."
However, when I was on my honeymoon in Lousiana, I was on a boardwalk that warned "Do not bring your dogs on this boardwalk. Alligators consider dogs to be food." Now THAT'S wildlife!
