I trust you read Out of the Silent Planet first?

I read Lewis' space trilogy when I was in junior high I think. I really ought to read them again sometime soon.

I rather enjoyed the first novel. The second one I still enjoyed, but it seemed a lot drier to my 12-or-13-year-old mind. I remember completely skipping over at least one whole chapter near the end. I managed to get through That Hideous Strength, the third and final novel, but it was difficult. I just didn't "get" a lot of it; but I think if I read the series again, I might understand some of the philosophical passages in them better.

Other thoughts?
