Heh, heh. As someone who was an expatriate in Europe for five years, I can wholly sympathize with the food thing (although it was way more important when I was there, seeing as... well, when you're a kid, having Twinkies and stuff is IMPORTANT!). While in Europe, we couldn't get a ton of American things like root beer, cream soda, certain American candy bars, lots of American fast food things (like KFC or Arby's, although there are some starting to pop up now), snack foods... and stuff like that. A Twinkie in one's lunch made you the ruler of the entire lunchroom, because you had a TWINKIE.

Funny, now that I'm back in America, I've discovered that I hate Twinkies. But I really miss foods like sausage broodjes, Chocomel, hazelnoot taart, pannekoeken, poffertjes, Cadbury candy, Hamkas, and a ton of other food...

Sosi"will really enjoy getting to eat Dutch and British goodies this summer, even if it does mean missing the RinkUnion"qui

(PS - My DSL is fixed now. Yay. :))
