I remember garden tractors like that, but I haven't seen one in a long time. I use an
ordinary tiller. Torture, to me, is a hoe.
And yes, the Maytag has a kick starter just like the ones on my Cushmans. I just found out thru the internet that it was built in 1932, which makes it older than me. I'm a 1933 model. Maytag called it a "Model 92 Multimotor." I think this one has half a horsepower. Most were used on washing machines, but some powered lawnmowers, generators, grindstones, pumps etc. You would like my son's 1968 Wheelhorse lawnmower. It looks like a small scale tractor, but it's bigger than the average riding mower. I like old mechanical stuff, but my big weakness is vintage motorscooters. I have two restored Cushmans and several waiting for restoration. I also have a Vespa, some Hondas and a Benelli, which is an Italian made 50cc motorbike built in 1966. I think the Maytag will look good in my collection.
