I would LOVE to see the musical... I've heard the soundtrack of it, and the music sounds great (the added songs are cool, plus I LOVE the original movie score anyway). And I've heard SO much about it being a great musical...
Of course, I have seen a fairly spectacular show at Disney's Animal Kingdom park (in Walt Disney World) called Festival of the Lion King, where they have similar costuming, great dancing, acrobatics, aerial feats such as you described, and songs. (All movie songs, though.) Pretty darn good for a theme park show, even a Disney theme park show. The aerial performance for 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' was wonderful, and the fire-dancers for 'Be Prepared' were excellent. Good show. Seen it twice. Still want to see the musical.
