Since it was impossible to open the book to those pages without separating them, I deduce that I was the first to read that far, even though I wasn't the first to take the book out of the library.
Heck yeah, I'm ussually a fast reader, but I didn't finish the first half before we finished with the book in class. Our prof. is a bit batty, we only spent about a week on 'King Hereafter' and by the end of this week we are going to have finished with 'Mary Queen of Scots' another big long book.
