Labyrinth, though enjoyable, is definitely a bad movie. The Escher staircase thing was great, as was "SMELL BAD!!!!!!!!1" And David Bowie's composition works well with it. Bowie's performance is what shot the movie for me, not as Goblin King, but as a musician: he doesn't sing more than a handful of notes that aren't out of tune.

As for Mary Poppins, i haven't seen it in a few years. I just hated it as a child. Maybe now i'd appreciate it as an adult, but that one and Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang were all just not in the right vein of silliness for my preferences. It was probably more timing than anything else.

Penny*should probably watch it again, but not before i've finally located a copy of Eric the Viking first*stamp
