On the news this morning before I left for work was an article on a new initiative to give London Underground a new smell. Trials are being carried out at 3 stations, one of which is St. James' Park, the station nearest my work.

Sometimes I get a tube from Victoria into work (Londoners will know how lazy that makes me), but this morning Victoria tube station was closed due to overcrowding on the platforms so I've only just had a chance to check out the new smell.

I have to say I like it. I had nothing against the "natural" smell, but the perfume they're using is fresh, invigorating and generally happy. I don't know what it's meant to be, but to my nose it's lemon grass and jasmine.
