I, for example, love the smell of subway stations. Here in Oslo, in London, and in New York. I don't know why, exactly, but I do like it.

Also, I love the early spring when the snow starts to melt and the crisp, clear air is filled with the smell of rotting autumn leaves. After a whole winter has passed where you couldn't smell *anything* outside, it's wonderful to take a walk and just sniff your way around. :-)
