What's wrong with being different? Wouldn't it be boring if we were all alike?
I take it you are a freshman in college. I remember going through that kind of stuff. Maybe you should join a club. That's it! A club or some other oganization. When I was a freshman, I joined the drama club. I couldn't act, but I could work in production: Scenery, sound effects, properties, lights! What I didn't know, they taught me. They had plenty of would-be actors, but not very many who would work on the crew. I made some good friends in the drama club.
Then I tried journalism. Even with limited tallent, I could write for the college paper. They threw most of my stuff out, but published some of it. That led to a job on the local daily downtown. I worked my way through college with that job.
Can you sing? They might take you in the chorus. How about the band? Sports? Whatever. Just get involved in something. But try to save a little time for study.
I didn't drink either, still don't, but I had fun without dumb stuff like that.
