I'm going to go out on a limb and say your problems stem from the fact that you're a boring loser.

Ha, ha! Just kidding. I'll bet you're rolling now. I'm the freaking master of making people feel better!

Anyway, my suggestion to you would be to get involved in something on school. You say you already have friends, just not necessarily enough in school at the right time. Personally I have been involved with our paper this semester, and it has helped to really keep my interest in school as well as something to do while I'm on campus. Not to mention that I get to chill wit' my editorial crew, yo.

Part of the problem with college I think is that it is difficult to make friends while there if you're not living on campus. If you go to a lecture two or three times a week, you don't really have much oppurtunity to get to know anyone in the few minutes immediately before or immediately after class.

From my experience, when I've been involved with something like the paper (or my previously ill-fated adventure as part of the speech team) you get to "work" with people in a non-lecture environment and so you really get a chance to meet people.
