Eh, why else do you think I'd be spending my social life on the Internet? ;-)

Seriously, though: I don't watch much on TV (OK, so I watch a *few* programs regularly, but they're all pretty unpopular with my generation, heh); I rarely if ever watch "popular" movies, and in fact, I rarely watch movies in general; I still don't drive, though most everyone I've known since elementary school does (including people much younger than I am!); I'm not a drinker nor a partier...eh, nearly everything you've described.

And indeed, there are one or two people at my school whom I have a *really* close friendship with. The rest I can manage to make decent conversation with-- but I just, well, don't always feel like I *belong*. Even if I can communicate with the people around me, everyone is just so...well, *different*.

Eh, maybe college will be different from my current situation in high school; after all, I will be going to a relatively small private college. Then again...maybe the experience won't be all that different.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see...and continue to keep a close watch on the RinkForum and/or RinkChat while I make the transition, heh. ;-)
