My hometown's claim to fame?

"We are the tech capital of the world! And the home of really expensive real estate! And a lot of dying start ups started HERE, yes, HERE! And we contribute hugely to the CA power crisis! Woo hoo!"

*ahem*

Well, okay, so the Silicon Valley is one of the tech capitals of the world, but San Jose is cool for other reasons. Did you know that the Silicon Valley USED to be covered in orchards, and that when it was, it was called the Valley of Heart's Delight?

I like the last name way better. And it's always sad when one of the few remaining patches of old orchard falls to make yet another housing development. Grrr.


And, if you want to go to my home hometown, i.e. where I was born, that'd be San Diego - home of Sea World, the Padres, the Chargers, the rulingest zoo in the world (the San Diego Zoo, of course), the rulingest game making company in the word (Presto Studios, of course), and the Supreme Dictator (Stephen, of course).
