The claim to fame of the town I currently live in (Mount Vernon, Washington) is that it was voted the #1 small town of the country. A librarian that worked at the library (duh) told me that the #2 voted town (some place in Ohio or something) had "WE'RE NUMBER TWO! WE'RE NUMBER TWO!" All over their website. Which made me wonder: why would a town have a website?

The claim to fame of my hometown (Lincoln, Nebraska), was the fact I was born there. :^)
