End of the Origin games era

I was never much into the Ultima series, but I have great respect for Origin, the company that created it and has been in the computer gaming business since 1983. With Electronic Arts' decision to cancel Ultima Online II and lay off more than 80 Origin employees, it looks as though Origin, though it survives in name, is finished in spirit.

The link below is an article covering a bonfire party held by former Origin employees. Richard Garriott, better known as Lord British, was in attendance and gave out T-Shirts on which was printed:
