No, I was serious. I think Long John Silver's serves "Fish and Chips," but I have never set foot in that restaurant/fast food joint. My old roommates ordered food to go (or "takeaway," for NZ people) one day and brought it home. The smell drove me out of the apartment and I actually showed up at work 20 minutes early, for lack of anywhere else to go. I suppose if I ever get hungry enough, I could try ordering "Fish and chips, minus the fish," but maybe I'd rather lose the weight instead of eating fries that were tainted by being cooked in the same building as fish.

Untill that Long John Silver's episode, my only knowledge of fish and chips came from a book I had read. Of course, I don't remember the book, but that's beside the point.
