I've seen polls on other sides, like Rough Cut and Mr. Showbiz, where they ask a question, and you choose from a list of a few different options. Then the results are tallied up the next day. I've wanted to do something like this but felt that the disk space, CGI script work, and so forth for it really wouldn't be worth it.
But this opens the ballgame up. Rather than asking only for a "vote" from participants, ask for anecdotes, experiences, and so forth. This would accomplish exactly what I wanted to do in the first place, yet be more personal, more interesting, and justify the work going into setting the scripts up. I like it.
I'll have to let it sit for a while until I can figure out exactly how I want to go about this, but I can definitely see this happening. Thanks for the suggestion!
In the meantime, back to work on "The Game of the Ages"....
