Wow. I forgot all about this thread.

My thought now is that this idea is out. Since June 1999, I've more than accomplished my goal of making the site more personal and interactive with one very simple addition: RinkChat. It's just one thing, and it's frequented by a comparatively small audience compared to the whole of the RinkWorks audience, but it's enough to sway the balance of content to interactivity to the other side. If anything, now I want to be back into flexing my own creative muscles.

Multiplayer gaming would be a great way to indulge both, but I still need to learn the technology that I can implement something like that with.

At any rate, with Project X and a small handful of other content-oriented features in the assembly line, combined with the increasing weariness of proofreading IABBBBM reader reviews (a great deal of them need a LOT of editing), I'm not hugely motivated to saddle myself with more moderating duties along those lines.
