I'm a religious reader of Coming Attractions and an incidental one of other pages like CHUD. However, I choose what I read very carefully. I haven't even looked at ANY of CA's Episode II coverage -- I'm going to see the movie for sure, and I don't want to know a THING about the plot. However, some people apparently enjoy having stuff spoiled for them. I have no problem with this... if that's how they like watching movies, that's their business.

I CAN NOT STAND being spoiled without warning though. Ugh. One of the reasons I like CA is that they do a pretty good job of not being overt (and giving a warning when they do).

I find CA to be particularly useful for tracking smaller films that otherwise wouldn't get a lot of coverage. I saw Memento this weekend and LOVED it, and chances are I wouldn't have seen it had CA not regularly raved about it (I rather enjoy getting early reviews from test screenings and film festivals). I read up on the movie on CA's page for it, then checked out the website (which they said was awesome, and they were right) and got sold on seeing it. Ideally, I would've been better off not knowing a thing about the story... but I never would have seen the movie if I hadn't. What I did know didn't spoil anything too major for me though, so I got a pretty good deal.
