Well, if you want to hear my moving history, here it is:

I was born in Kettering, Ohio. My parents lived in Miamisburg, OH at the time. Both are suburbs of Dayton, although technically Miamisburg isn't because it doesn't have a 454__ zip code. Anyhoo...my first move, which I don't remember because I was just a tot, was to Brooksville, OH.

When I was three, my dad took a job in the South, and we moved to Lake City, South Carolina. I vaguely remember that move, because it was the occasion of my first plane ride ever. All I remember about it is the back of the seats on the plane.

Later, we moved to a new house in the same city. I remember that house better than the first one. It's where I got my first bike. And one time we almost burned the house down. As it was, we had to live with some friends for a few days while the smoke damage was cleaned up. Seems we had a clogged chimney or some such.

When I was in the middle of first grade, we moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, sometime in April. I remember that it was in April, because my mom came and got me out of school right after our Easter party, and I ate chocolate eggs on the way to our new home.

We lived in Charlotte until I was 10; then we moved back to Dayton, Ohio. Actually, we lived in a rental house in Huber Heights, another suburb, for one year, and then moved into the current home in Dayton. I didn't move again until college.

I got married five months after graduating from college, and our first apartment was in Piqua, Ohio. After that, we lived with my folks for four months, and then moved to Troy. We lived there for a year, and, well, that brings us right up to the present.

Gri"wishes he could have lived in another country at some point"shny
