I used to be mistaken for someone much younger. By now, though, I'm 17 and look about as old as I'm going to (for awhile anyway). I was a late bloomer; I'm still only 5'2, but that's not going to change!

I remember when I was in 7th grade and I sat on an airplane next to a sweet little old lady. She pulled out pictures of her very handsome grandson, who she said was in 8th grade, and then asked, "so I'd guess you're in about...5th grade?" I was humiliated (and so was she). Fortunately, those type of incidents don't happen anymore. I'm in two college classes, both made up of all 20- and 21-year-olds. They don't notice that I'm even alive, but they also don't notice that I'm not a college student. I can live with that, for now. Two months and some days and I'm not a high-schooler anymore, anyway.
