Ah. I see the misunderstanding. They pronounce the letter "j" as an "h" but the sound "j" as a "y."

Interestingly, a lot of Hispanic people I know pronounce the "y" sound (like in "you," "yes," etc.) with kind of a j or zh sound at the beginning. It sounds neat.
