There are many Star Wars mailing lists out there which end all posts with a 'Darth joke' eg.

And there was a spate of assuming an 'In' at the start of each Darth name. (Like with 'In'Sidious and 'In'Vader.) So you'd get people signing themselves as 'Darth Trepid', 'Darth Explicable', 'Darth Continent' and 'Darth Stant darth joke, just add water'.

There's a labyrinth list I'm on with a 'goblin quote' but we ripped that off from a Star Wars list, so I'm not sure it counts.

The quotes in names thing is also used on the San Fernando Valley Folklore Society message board. It's possible a Rinkie brought it over, but I think it was just a spontaneous haveage of the same idea.
