As for me, I almost always have at least a short parting phrase to my posts (and all my letters have a P.S., too). I really liked the idea when I first saw it... another opportunity for expression.

Even if I didn't have anything planned to say, the desire to put one in is strong enough that I'll think about it for a while... what would fit well in here?... and perhaps come up with something I wouldn't before.

But that's just me.
