> Right now I'm having writers block. I really would like to write something, and I'm sort of in that writing mood, I have ideas, but yet I'm sort of having writer's block, and I don't know how to get out of it. My problem is that I don't have a very good writing style, it's kind of bland(Even though I never write anything much, I have wrote some stuff, not any full-blown stories or anything). It's not dramatic enough. I read my friend Lindsay's stories, and they're very dramamatic, they're simply spectacular and I really wish I could write like her. Does anyone have any ideas on perking my style up?

What generally works for me is simpty writing short things, and not even trying to be dramatic. You can see some samples of my writing on my home page (shameless self-promotion!) for an example of what I mean.

A lot of it is finding what you *do* write well. Not everyone can write epic sagas - I certainly haven't been able to, yet. What I write is character sketches. My "stories" (if you want to call them that) contain no action whatsoever. Read them - you'll se what I mean. There are only two posted right now; I'll put up more after I manage to get to my archives (they're not with me).

Really, all I can tell you is "have patience." If you force yourself to write, it will come out sounding forced. It just has to flow.
