I just browsed through the latest installment of Book-A-Minute Classics updates... in general, I don't think they're really up to the standards of past BAMs. It seems as though they focus more on being as short as possible than on much else (all three are one line), though I do agree with the condensation of "The Sun Also Rises." Huckleberry Finn... there's really a lot more to be said about. Hamlet... well, call me a Hamlet fanatic (I suppose I am), but I'm seriously dissatisfied with the one-line treatment. Tom Stoppard did a very amusing condensation of Hamlet at one point... it's entitled "The fifteen-minute Hamlet." It's very amusing.
