That hit me strong. I really enjoyed reading that, and I think that if the guy you are debating on giving it too has ANY appreciation or enjoyment of poetry or emotional writing to give it to him. If he is clueless about those things, and just *doesn't get them*, then maybe reconsider. Like Elli said, depends on his maturity level, too.
But me, wow. I liked it.
