> ??? Silly? Corny? Abbott and Costello? Are you sure you're talking about "The Green Mile" and not "Bachelor Party" or something? "The Green Mile" was not a slapstick comedy, intentionally or unintentionally. As for "unoriginal," I think that criticism would have been foiled had you stuck around; there isn't really any other movie like it that I can think of off the top of my head. The movie a Best Picture nominee at the Oscars. Not that you're not free not to like it (Ha! Decipher THAT sentence!), but I have to believe you've either got the wrong title or didn't give it enough of a chance.

Hmmm. After reading Howard's two movie posts, I have a sneaking suspicious that he is pulling another...well, another "Howard." I may be wrong on this, but I don't think he is being totally serious.

Think about it: "Keep The Faith" sounds like a pretty silly, low-brow movie. That's just my impression from Howard's description of it and who is in it. I don't know anything about it, but I would imagine it got pretty low reviews. Meanwhile, "The Green Mile" (which I also have not seen) has been acclaimed by critics and as Sam said, nominated for an Academy award.

It sounds to me like Howard just looked at what the critics thought of two movies and then said the opposite in his posts, just to once again "ruffle our tailfeathers."
