I don't have a bus story, but....

I've read the bus stories, but I've come up short. I don't have one. The most exciting thing that ever happened to me on a bus was when I went to sleep and missed my stop. However...(you knew this was coming, didn't you?) a friend of mine told me one. He and I belong to the same liars club, so here it is, for what it's worth.
It seems he was riding a city bus in Nashville when an absolutely beautiful girl got on and sat down facing him. He couldn't keep his eyes off her. She was perfect. After a few minutes, she got out a small notebook and wrote something on it and then tore out the page. She sat there for several blocks, then smiled at him as she got up to leave, and handed him the slip of paper. Then she was gone. It was a phone number! He waited until about seven that evening and then dialed the number. After a couple of rings, a recording answered it. You guessed it. It was "Dial a Prayer." Howard
