We saw three shows and ate barbeque with all the trimmin's. The temperature was in the high 40's but dropped into the 30's before we left. It must have been senior citizen day. I have never seen so many Q-tips in my life! > > Howard > > We were driving to church a few weeks ago and ended up behind a slow-moving vehicle. (Going 15 in a 25mph residential area, and 25-30 in a 35mph speed zone.) I looked, and sure enough, it was a "Q-tip" driving. I said something to that effect, and my wife chewed me out. She said it wasn't nice to say that. I guess you have to be one (or married to one) before you can joke about it, huh? > > Gri"not a Q-tip"shny
I guess you're right. I picked the expression up from my sister who turns 69 this month. However, I should point out that I'm not a Q-tip (I'm more of a lolly-pop) and neither is my wife. She will be 65 soon and her hair is still the same strawberry blond that it was when we married 45 years ago. No, it's not creative chemistry, it's her natural color. Her mother, 84, still has brown hair with only an occasional grey strand. It must run in the family. Do you think the term Q-tip is disrespectful? Maybe I should be think again about using it. Howard
