I was a little wary about seeing it the first time because it had gotten a bad review from...oh, Entertainment Weekly, I think...so I waited until it came out on video. I was SHOCKED, but in a very GOOD way. I was hooked on first view. LOL. I admit, the part where Neo awakens in that little pod thing bald-headed and slimy...well, I always FF through that part. Other than that, though, the film impressed me a great deal.

Aw, you should have see it on the big screen! It made it seem more real than watching it on DVD or VHS.

I never can decide what my favorite movie is, and I probably never will. It generally changes every six months or so, although my current favorite movie has been holding out for probably almost a year now.

I'm with you on the sci-fi part. I have never been into science fiction, but Sean (my fiance) insists that I am a closet science fiction fan and I just don't know it yet. We go to movies that he wants to see, and I wind up loving them at least as much as he does, if not more.

That's the one thing I'm worried about. I'll probably try to talk myself into believing that the Matrix II won't be any good. I find that I tend to enjoy a movie more if I had low expectations of it. Example: Pleasantville. I thought that movie would be terrible, but for some odd reason, I wound up going to see it. Pleasantville is now in my top three or five favorite movies.
