Just two or three thoughts on the subject, to share with you my point of view.

I agree that you're waiting for something important, but it's not all of your life.
Your life is yourself, your friends, your feelings, the poetry you write, the sun that rises every morning or the stars you look at in the moist night air; all this will go on and on whichever school you choose and whatever education you receive.

Whatever the result is, it's not a judgement on your person but only on some sheets; if you did it at your best and they turn you down, I think that's their fault, not yours; simply they weren't smart enough to understand what a valuable person you are.

Don't torture yourself in the next 33 days or so, simply go on as usual, try to be happy, prepare yourself to the life in college. In two words: think positive.
