It's funny what a big difference a few hundred miles can make. Here in eastern-central Ohio, almost all the leaves are already down and either raked up or blown away. The trees all look like dead skeletal things, so it must be winter. It got cold this week, cold enough to start thinking about pulling out the winter coat. But I'm brave, so I'll keep wearing my jacket for a few more weeks.
