I like it when Christmas is in the middle of the coldest winter. I'm even starting to feel like Christmas because It's so cold outside. But this year the winter is coming slowly: It's still about plus ten (Celsius) and no snow. I remember years when we got snow in the beginning of October.

This year is special in another way, too. We're visiting Australia for three weeks around Christmas and New Year, so I'll have to get used to having Christmas in summer.
