Though I have witnessed a lot of kids repeating their parents' opinions without really knowing what they're talking about, I think that a lot of kids get into politics and put effort into thinking through their opinions. Considering that Bush promises tax cuts to middle class families, what everyone in my community is, I found the results surprising.

Maybe they read the episode of Non Sequitur(sp? I'll find out the spelling tomorrow) in which Obviousman points out that the Prez doesn't make tax laws, and can only either veto or sign bills, thus killing a bill or making a law.

Nyper"Welcome back! Maybe this should be called Nostalgia *Month*"old
