That's not old. I remember back before there was even a webpage. We just hung around on USENET and posted about how cool RW was going to be when Sam made it.
And before that, we didn't even have internet connections. We had to sit around (often OUTSIDE, where bears are), with no way to communicate with each other, pretending we were talking to people we hadn't met. FQ wasn't quite as fun when it was all in my mind, but at least I didn't have to do anything three times...
