When my friends mom was younger, her sister and she had to mow the lawn in front of the house every weekend. Their grandfather, who lived with them, would often sit in an upstairs window and watch as they did this chore. After the grandfather died, whenever my friend's mom would mow the lawn, she got an eerie feeling that there was still someone in the window, watching her, but every time she looked there was never anyone there.

A few years ago, she mentioned this to her sister for the first time and the sister, in surprise, replied that she always had the same eerie feeling when she mowed the lawn, too.
