OK. I have to tell you my small world stories. Last spring I was studying in Spain, and one day I was sitting in a very crowded plaza next to some people my age speaking English I asked them where they were from, and it turned out that one of them grew up just outside the town I'm going to college in, and goes to college in the town I grew up just outside. He was actually planning on student teaching under my high school Spanish teacher. . .
Story #2. After Spain, I traveled a little bit in Scotland. On a trip to the Isle of Skye, I had a waiter with an American accent. So, I we talked about where we were from, and it turned out that he'd gone to Earlham for two years. Not too bad for a college of about 1000!!! :)
