I was hitch-hiking through Europe back in '78, met a guy in Athens and we continued together to Crete. We later met two girls, schoolfriends, who had bumped into each other in Greece, neither knowing that the other was going to be there.

But here's the freaky bit...

We then worked out that the guy I was with had gone out with one of the girl's sisters...

A mate of mine arrived in San Francisco, the home town of a mutual friend. Not having any contact details, he walked up to the first likely looking person and said 'hello, I'm from England, do you know Stephan Boutacoff?' A hit first time, so he had somewhere to stay...

oh - my younger sister got married in London, left for the honeymoon to an undisclosed location. 80 miles away and half way home, we almost ran her and her new husband over at a pedestrian crossing...
