Yes, changing my last name is going to be an adjustment when I get married. I'm used to have a four-letter last name, but when I get married I'll have to adjust to an eight-letter one. I know it will take me a while before I will be able to sign my name without thinking about it.

All in all, it sounds like your wedding went pretty well. If it had gone *perfectly* (i.e. no misplaced marriage license), you wouldn't have as many fun stories to tell. Forty years from now, I'm sure you'll be making your grandchildren laugh when you tell them the story.
