The amusing thing is that we showed the mail to our landlady, and she's never heard of some of these people- and they certainly didn't live at this address in the past however many years she's been here. (Which I think is at least twenty, by the way.)

We get phone calls for "Tara" all the time. Once, Ticia even had a whole conversation with one of her friends. Ticia thought she was somebody else, but by the time Ticia figured out that she had no idea who this person was and that it was a wrong number, they had been talking for a few minutes. Ticia didn't want to embarrass herself or the girl, so she pretended to know what they were talking about until she hung up.

Another funny phone call, again when Ticia answered the phone, was the time when some guy called up, got the wrong number, called again. This time he asked if this was the number, and then he supplied the number he was trying to call. Sure enough, it was our phone number. He said something like, "Oh, he must have moved." Well, since we have lived in this house and had the same phone number since it was built (some twenty-one years ago), this couldn't have been the case...unless, of course, he was trying to call the ghost that periodically haunts our house (actually, it haunts our whole neighborhood, but it seems to like our house an awful lot :-) ). But that's another story...
